Marine Week Boston flew into town this morning, and in a very picturesque way. Helicopters and an Osprey Tilt-Rotor craft landed on Boston Common. I happened to have the day off but wanted to snap some photos anyway, so I grabbed my 800mm telephoto lens and drove to Memorial Drive in Cambridge. I figured this would be a unique view. The first helicopter had a pilot with an estute sense of aesthetics as he flew right alongside the Prudential Center. Here are my photos of the very pleasant Marine “invasion”.
